0002 – DREADNOUGHT FOR BLOCKADE SERVICE – “A” project – L.B.P. 125,80m – Scale 1:100

One of the four 1905 projects for a  blockade service specifically studied dreadnought.

The projects, from Capt. Vittorio Cuniberti of the Navy Engineering Corp, were never realized, but we can present a well detailed and perfectly preserved original set of plans (14 plates) with:  lines, longitudinal section, decks, capstan and bow rudder, stern rudder hinges and anchors accomodation.

The ship was expected to be armed with four 203mm cannons in twin towers, sixteen 76/50mm cannons (plans available at code 2531) and two torpedo launcher tubes in the bow.
